(JOINT BASE PEARL HARBOR, HICKAM, Hawaii) – Melvin Ing, President of the Navy League of the United States, Honolulu Chapter, presents a $2500 check to USS Hawaii (SSN 776) Chief of the Boat, Master Chief Robert Crossno and the Hawaii crew to subsidize the cost of the upcoming Submarine Birthday Ball. The Navy League strives to improve the understanding and appreciation of those who wear the uniforms of our armed forces and to better the conditions under which they live and serve.
